How online booking works

Appointments can now be booked online for all physicians. General tips for booking online:

  1. You are only able to book with your assigned physician.

  2. If you have severe symptoms, we recommend you book an appointment by calling us.

  3. If you have an urgent concern and are looking for a same-day appointment, try selecting the Same day appointment link. These are appointment times that are made available on a daily basis depending on each physician’s availability that day.

  4. If you are booking for cough or cold symptoms, please ensure you have a negative rapid-antigen test for Covid-19 before coming into the office (preferably repeated the day of your appointment) . If you test positive for Covid-19 on a rapid antigen test or you strongly suspect you have Covid-19, please call us before coming in.

  5. Each physician has different schedules and may offer a different number of their appointments for online booking. If you don’t see an appointment time that works for you, please call us.

Medical Learners: The physicians of Lakeshore Family Medicine often supervise medical students or medical residents. This helps expose future physicians to a busy primary care office. It also helps attract new physicians to our community. It is possible that your appointment may involve care from either a medical student or a resident physician prior to seeing your physician. Some resident physicians are nearly completed their training, and at times work independently though they do review their care plan with your physician.

Vacation information

During the month of August we will have Dr. Alis Xu joining us to provide some coverage for the physicians who are on vacation. When you book online for an appointment this summer, please select your regular physician as usual. However, it is possible your appointment may be scheduled with Dr. Xu if your physician is away at that time.
